Orblitz is a 3D physics-based puzzle game, a cross between Marble Madness and Lemmings. You'll need wits to correctly place the limited amount of blocks given in order to redirect the path of an orb to reach its goal.

Orblitz is one of three DigiPen games to be finalist at the IGF student showcase!

It won't work on my computer, I use Windows XP, and it just crashes right away.

Looks like a fun game... but when I install it in Windows 7, it doesn't get past the menu screen. It shows the menu, with nice animated background, but there's no way to select an item from the menu, like Tutorial. There's no indicator of which menu item is selected, and the mouse and arrow keys don't seem to do anything. I tried lots of other keys. Only the Esc key works, which of course exits the game. This is on a Dell Latitude E6500 laptop. The animated background graphics seem to perform just fine.

@Marc So, can we get the code? I think, I can do all the recompiling job

Marc
Well, it was built using SDL, so it would be possible to recompile it with gcc, but that would take some time that none of us have frankly.

SaMi
hi, is there any way to play it on linux ? (wine crash lamentably...)

Marc
That could mean it can't run because it needs a graphics card powerful enough..? That's the only thing I can think off.
